STORMING: Brainstorm! Put everything "on the table" without judgment. All ideas are ok!
NORMING: This is the stage of figuring things out; working out the "kinks." If one thing doesn't work, try something new.
PERFORMING: This is the stage you refine your techniques and really perform. Work together as a team with the students sharing roles and responsibilities. HAVE FUN! Deal with issues/concerns outside of class.
In making it work, THINK ABOUT . . .
. . . your "Intent of Response" to your co-teacher (and students) and ask yourself:
Am I trying to control a behavior?
Am I trying to stop a behavior?
Am I trying to punish?
Am I trying to teach?
Am I trying to avoid?
Am I trying to minimize disruption?
Am I trying to maintain a relationship?
