Why Co-Teaching?
Co-teaching is a service-delivery option that supports a philosophy of inclusion.
Promotes the development of heterogeneous-based classrooms.
ALL students receive multiple methods of instruction.
Better student-teacher ratio.
Students do not have to be "pulled out" for special education services.
Co-teachers can support each other, sharing in the successes and challenges of the day.
Positive modeling of cooperation.
